Kathryn & Brad 09/29/07 United Methodist at 126th and Gray rd. & The Ritz Charles

This was the roughest weekend for the company.  We had 5 weddings on 9/29/07 so every single person in the company had to work.  I personally went to 3 weddings starting in Greenwood and then to 2 in Carmel.  I spent the majority of my day from 2:30 on with Kathryn & Brad along with Jon and Joey (the official photographers).  We started at the church with them getting ready.   Joey and Jon stayed with them while I setup the lights for formals since they decided to see each other before hand.  I tell couples all the time there isn't a right way or a wrong way to seeing each other before or after, it just changes timing.  It worked out very well for them and eliminated the stress of rushing to getf everything done before getting to the reception.

The church had a wonderful little garden area in the center that provided some wonderful light for us to work with so we were able to get it all done, inside and out... we had so much extra time after the wedding we traveled on down to Coxhall Garden just west of Springmill Rd. on 116th st. after the wedding at took several more shots.  I managed to string up a light for a special shot which you can see down below after you click to see more.  We traveled to the Ritz for the reception and I discovered we would be in the outdoor Pavillion.  The pavillion is wonderful for ambiance and the lighting and it just feels so open and fresh.  I have always had a great experience at the Ritz and think everyone should visit there, even if it is just for the next Bridal show in January.  The food is always good too.... the proof is in the pictures :)

We stayed till the end of the night... literally... we left after the DJ.  Mike West of MGS DJs kept the crowd dancing all night long.  The crowd took the energy and ran with it.  It is always good when there is that kind of dancing participation at a wedding.  Mike is one of the best music mixer djs around and I would highly reccommend him.

It is a shame I will never see Brad dance the Donkey Butt again but I still have the memories I will share forever ;)

Enjoy the pictures guys and make sure you leave some best wishes and comments for the bride and groom to see.

Thank you!

special button tools to quick fasten the dress.

Who wins the high jump?

Yes, you both always look your best this way.

Thank you Brad for the perfect turn to give me the perfect angle on that kiss shot.

I think the staff at The Ritz did the decor but I don't know.  It was great though and the colors worked very well with the natural light of the pavillion.

That was my salad and it was yum yum yummy too.

That was my dinner and it was good.

Beauteous!
