Silver Lotus Wedding Photography - Indianapolis

 Sara and Matthew are such a sweet couple. They wanted their dog Lily to be in a few of their photos....she sat still for maybe 4 and then she took off running wild through the neighborhood. It's not her fault though she's just a puppy (a big one) So we had to settle for a shot of her watching us through the window...  :) We still had a great day shooting the rest of the photos and there was a spectacular sunset at the end of the day. I really like this couple.  I like all my couples but this one has a special meaning to me because I photographed the Bride's brother's wedding years ago... and this couple loves to have their photo taken. 

 It means so much when a couple is willing to do about anything we ask.

So here are just my fave 3... still busy reloading all the weddings since January.... ugh... They are coming.

Sorry these are a little late getting up on the blog but we've been busy, busy! Veronique and Ryan had a beautiful ceremony outside of Laurel Hall. This was my first time shooting a there and I sure hope it's not my last. It was a pretty HOT day but everyone got through it and it cooled down in time for the ceremony. The Bride was gorgeous, the groom was handsome, and the cake was to die for! (As soon as I find out where it was from I'll let ya know) :)

Best cake ever!

This young lady won a prize for modeling a fashion show at the beginning of the year entitiling her to a full out shoot with Joe.   Joe's extensive background in the fashion world makes him highly sought after in the area.

Amanda and Aaron are so sweet! We had a great shoot at the IMA...this place is just full of endless picture taking opportunities. I can't wait until their wedding in August. Their wedding colors are green, brown, and cream....my fav! They are so cute together and I can tell that they are going to have a long and very happy marriage :)

Another beautiful day at the IMA (Indianapolis Museum of Art) for a engagement shoot. Amanda and Joe had to be the most laid back couple I've met so far. I am sooo looking forward to their wedding in October. They have allowed me to have extra, extra, extra time to shoot photos of just them on their wedding day.....a photographers dream!

One for ma!

I knew this couple was made for each other after their engagement session but they really showed it to everyone at the wedding this past weekend.

I can only hope we get to photograph their childrens' weddings as well.

They have such wonderful families and so expressive.  They truly reminded me of why I love to photograph weddings.

I can't wait to post more but here are a couple.

What a sweet couple!!! These two were soooo much fun and their entire family was so nice! It was supposed to rain all day on Saturday, but after a few clouds the sun came out and the rest of the day was just gorgeous! The ceremony was beautiful.....they even walked out to one of my most favorite songs... "I believe in a thing called love" by The Darkness. Awesome!

Heather and Jared were married in Lafayette at Trinity United Methodist Church. The people there were so friendly.  Mary Plybon the church custodian was kind enough to take us to the reception when my car keys were misplaced...Thanks Mary!!!!!

Again another beautiful day for egagement photos!!! I meet up with Kelly and Adam at the IMA and covered the entire area. They were such great sports....even when I had them climbing trees! I am definitley looking forward to their wedding in November!

What a wonderful weekend for a engagement shoot! We had a great time down at the canal. It was definitley a happening place for photos with prom, weddings, and other soon to be married couple being photographed as well. Michelle and Jason were so much fun! I can't wait until their wedding!!!

I loved this couple!

I photographed the proposal as you can see if you scroll through the blog as well so I felt unusually connected to this couple.  Oddly enough I found out the day of the wedding they were distantly related to my best friend of the past 16 years.  They have an intense passion for one another that rubs off on you when you meet them. They were married in Anderson at the First United Methodist Church downtown and the reception was just two blocks down the road at the Anderson Fine Art Center.  Judy Baker made all the wonderful food.  Look her up if you are getting married in the Anderson area.

 Don't forget the "S" shape !
